A student from Karakalpakstan received a Volkswagen Lavida XR as a gift for an innovative project in the field of electric mobility

Uzbekistan continues to support talented young people whose ideas and developments are shaping the future of the nation's engineering and technology.
During the exhibition of youth innovation projects held on June 30 at the Olympic Village, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the "Next-Generation Vehicles" project, developed by Aizada Asanova, a student of Nukus State Technical University, together with a team of young engineers.
The project is an experimental electric vehicle created with the goal of achieving the highest possible energy efficiency. During the national competition, the prototype covered a distance of 10 kilometers using only 40 watts of energy. Thanks to this achievement, the team earned the right to represent Uzbekistan at an international engineering competition in Belgium for the first time.
Highly commending the work of the young developers, the President instructed that Aizada Asanova be presented with a Volkswagen Lavida XR as a gift on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This gesture became a recognition of the talent, perseverance, and aspiration of the young engineers to create the technologies of the future, as well as a symbol of support for the innovation and scientific potential of the new generation.
Volkswagen has always been associated with engineering excellence, technological progress, and forward momentum. It is especially symbolic that a car of this very brand became the reward for a project dedicated to developing next-generation transport.
We congratulate Aizada Asanova and the entire development team on this well-deserved recognition, and we wish them new accomplishments, a successful performance on the international stage, and further victories in the field of engineering and innovation.
