Tashkent, June 17 — An official presentation of the Volkswagen brand in Uzbekistan, as well as new Volkswagen and Jetta models designed for the country’s market, took place at Tashkent City.

The event was held next to the new official Volkswagen dealership in Tashkent and became an important milestone in the development of the brand’s presence in the Uzbekistan market.

As part of the presentation, guests were introduced to the Volkswagen Lavida XR, Tharu XR, Passat Pro, Tiguan L Pro, Teramont X, and Teramont Pro models, as well as the Jetta VS5 and Jetta VS7. Participants had the opportunity to explore the model range, key vehicle specifications, modern technologies, safety systems, and comfort features.

Representatives of the automotive industry, Volkswagen, Jetta Automotive, and Alyans Auto delivered welcoming speeches during the event. They highlighted the prospects for the development of Uzbekistan’s automotive market, the importance of international cooperation, and the further expansion of official sales and service infrastructure.

“The launch of Volkswagen in Uzbekistan marks the beginning of a long-term project that combines official retail, customer service, after-sales support, and German quality standards for the Uzbekistan market,” said Oybek Ayubov, General Director of Alyans Auto LLC.

Alyans Auto is responsible for developing Volkswagen brand operations in Uzbekistan. The company focuses on establishing official sales infrastructure, service operations, warranty support, and delivering a customer experience that meets Volkswagen standards.

The recommended retail prices for the presented models include VAT and may vary depending on the configuration and sales conditions. The price of the Volkswagen Lavida XR will be announced separately.
